Noelle

Name: Noelle Renee Trevalion no Valerian
Age: 27
Race (Lineage Origin): D'Angeline.
Gender:Female
Height: 5'8
Eye Color: Honey Brown
Hair Color: Her hair is a deep coffee in color.
Home Province/Country: Azzalle
Languages Spoken: Hellene, Aragonian, Caerdicci

Appearance: Noelle is a comely woman. There is no question about that. While her birth parents are not known, whomever they were they possessed the perfect quality of the Angel lineage. Her bone structure, strong. She has smooth lines that caress the planes of her face, all offset by thick, lush brown hair that seems to shine like a halo around her.  Her face is balanced with perfectly plush lips. An endearing feature are her two front teeth which are slightly imperfect. A bit gaped, and larger than the rest of her teeth it gives her an air of impish innocence, almost making her seem beyond the realm of angel's seed, and something that danced from a storybook.

To further examine her features, there is something most apparent about her when one glances at her visage. Her eyes. While they are clear in hue, and depth, there is no life to them. They swing around as if she were looking about her, but there is no sight that is registered within.  Directly under those "dead" eyes are dots of color. Freckles grace her flesh. The little markings so eerily prefect on her face that it seemed a painter dipped a brush in the lightest earth tone and flicked the bristles to create the spattered design that slopes from the bridge of her nose to the apples of her cheeks.

Her fleshly tone is ever changing depending on the season. When the spring and summer months land, she enjoys spending her time in the warmth. As she can't see the sun, she enjoys lounging in it, and listening to the world around her. Living vicariously through audio and sensation.  Her skin easily absorbs the sun's rays and darkens. As she is not of mixed blood ( to anyone's knowledge) it makes her look almost exotic as so many D'Angeline have a particularly pallid quality to their flesh. Her love of the sun is what earned her those freckles. In the winter months her skin fades back to the color of fresh milk. For patrons or others who do not desire to see those imperfections on her skin, D'Angeline make-up is something that works wonders.

As far as her body goes, she is about as standard as most D'Angeline women. She has an hourglass shape, however due to her inability to see her body, she is a tad softer in the stomach and hip region, there is a very gentle rounding, but many find that appealing. Softer flesh has a nicer reaction to the harder hits of those who desire to give pain.

Personality: Noelle was and always will be a natural submissive. A woman who finds joy and pleasure in making sure she is doing as someone else needs her to. There is beauty that comes from that. The connection that happens between the one that forces the yield and the yielded. She is in the right and only true path that she can be in. She wouldn't have her life any other way, and she is not afraid for people to know of her station within the Night Blossoming Court. She is proud, but not boastful, that would be the opposite of a demure Valerian.

Noelle aims to please and takes pleasure in return from such acts. Perhaps her greatest gift, and her swift path to damnation all rolled up into a single package. She is the type of girl that would do anything to make another happy, including putting herself at risk to a certain degree.

When she is in good company she can be quite  social, and feels starved without a good conversation, and carefree bouts of laughter, which perhaps show a delicate connection between the houses. She has a personal theory that each house connects to the other in several different ways. Gentian heals the mind, Balm the body. There are certain things that can be healing about releasing anger and tension upon a willing participate. The same goes with laughter. Each portion of the houses are the same as the other with different main features. That's what she adores about the Night Blossoming Court.

Noelle is a quiet sort of girl, but she absolutely hates silence. For a world that has no vision in it, she had to rely on something, so awkward silence sends her into a panic. There always has to be something. White noise so that she feels like she's in a place where there are living beings. She loves it when people read to her. She is not the type of person who enjoys sympathy over something she never had. She is completely content with her disability and it has proven to not slow her down at all. She is an intelligent and bright being, even if her face doesn't always show it.

There is one thing that is known about Noelle, her adoration for pain. She thrives with it. Her other senses so keenly created that pain has taken on a new level of meaning for her. It is almost spiritual for her, it pushes her past the realm of the physical. She feels like she's floating during an assignation. Her true love for it is quite shocking. There is a particular build up that she loves. The sounds that come before the lash of a whip. How the leather whistles through the air. That split second the world seems to pause just before the sting settles in as the skin sizzles from the hit. That's when she doesn't know it's coming. That shock, and surprise. It does something to her soul, it makes her feel complete.

History: Noelle's birth parents are unknown. Her first day in the world was rather heartbreaking, but it is nothing that permanently destroyed her as far as personality. In fact she couldn't be more grateful to her biological parents. Few scant hour after her birth, she was dropped off at Azza's Temple, as it was the only in the region. She was found resting upon the steps, wrapped in several blankets to keep her warm. It was her cries of hunger that alerted the inhabitants inside of her presence. They took in the child, and nursed her to health, keeping her as one of their own for the first year of her life. They named her Noelle for the joy she showed as an infant.

A young Trevalion woman, Marguerite, came to the temple in search of guidance. She came seeking navigation for her life. She saw the blind toddler and instantly found love. She spoke to the head Priest there, and it was agreed that she would be adopted into the Trevalion family. Marguerite took the child to her manor that very day. She was named that day. Noelle Renee Trevalion. Renee was the namesake of Marguerite's own mother.

Taking care of a child who suffered blindness proved to be a chore, but there was one thing that Marguerite noted from the beginning. Noelle had an odd reaction to pain. She treated it as a curiosity more than what a normal child would. She never cried, she simply would poke at her injury or giggle. This in some ways alarmed the now young mother, but she knew that it was a sign from the Companions. In many ways it could also provide the additional help that Marguerite could not provide. She had funding of course, but she was not in line for any sort of title, and having someone around twenty four seven to assist with the safety of the rapidly growing girl was proving to be difficult. Perhaps sending her to Valerian house would fix any of the problems that she faced.

And so it was on the sixth anniversary of her adoption day, Noelle was sent to learn at Valerian House. While she could not read, she was taught to entertain with her voice. Her singing. She was taught poetry, and how to see with her hands. It was the little things that she went through that helped shape her into a fine Valerian Novice. She flourish and excelled in the environment. She enjoyed hearing the stories that the other adepts had to read. The way that everything in their books were depicted painted a beautiful picture in her mind.

Years passed very quickly for her within the House of Pain. There was a saying that time flies when one has fun. She had reached her age of majority and her debut happened. She was purchased by a foreign dignitary who payed a pretty penny to keep her for the night. She received a nice patron gift from it as well.

Her journey within the house still continues. She is three two assignations away from having her debt paid to the Valerian house. She is unsure if she will seek out her adoptive mother, or stay within the city of Elua. Regardless of her choice, she know she will never turn her back on the beauty of pain and how it has affected her life.
