Character appearance: When one looks at Carle they are greeted with a very quirky individual. She is not without her visual charm to some, having youthful almost doll-like features. She is rather short, standing at only five foot three, which only adds to that borderline pixie allure. She is a petite, slender thing.
Her face is small in a way. Her blue eyes are quite large. She more often than not harbors a rather stoic expression, even if she was full of mirth, her expression is perpetually the same. It takes a lot for her to crack a smile, but when she does, she has dimples.
Her hair is the shadow of chestnut, and harbors various sizes of twists, and braids through out the locks. It's rare to see her without them and with something that looks like manageable hair. More often than not, she has those bunches pulled back from her face The barren expanse of her forehead adds to he odd appearance that she has, though not necessarily in a good or bad way. It just makes her more interesting. Resting upon her head she often wears various styles of hair jewelry. Her skin is porcelain and clear of blemish. She seems to lack any sort of body modifications sans her ears being pierced.
In terms of her clothing, she is nothing short of unique in that regard. She wears a combination of colors, and designs that typically have no business being paired together. Her fashion sense is so far out there that it is actually modern and could touch base with that of the students. Occasionally she is known to wear some muggle band shirts ( having a love for eclectic and different muggle musics ranging from Stevie Nicks all the way to Avatar.) and black leggings or jeans. She enjoys wearing loose and floaty fabrics which practically engulf her smaller form.
She is so very rarely seen without a plethora of jewelry upon her persons. Necklaces, rings, and bracelets...Oh MY!

Idealistic-She has an unshaken belief that all people are inherently good, perhaps simply misunderstood, that lends itself to an incredibly resilient attitude in the face of hardship.
Seek and Value Harmony- She no interest in having power over others, and don't much care for domineering attitudes at all. She would prefer a more democratic approach, and works hard to ensure that every voice and perspective is heard.
Open-Minded and Flexible A live-and-let-live attitude comes naturally to her, and ultimately she dislikes being constrained by rules.
Very Creative She can combine her intuitive nature with their open-mindedness to allow them to see things from unconventional perspectives.
Passionate and Energetic- When there is something that she enjoys there is very little that can stop her when she gets started on it. She is a ball of fire, this one... when she wants to be of course.

Character History: The Cobblefrost family is one that has been known through out the years for their powers in Divination. From the earliest known woman in the family, they've all had that certain gift. Carle was no exception. Even before her powers truly manifested on a more magical level, she was able to predict things through simple dreams. She could see beyond the veil of even magic to know what things the fates could bring. This is something that is both a curse, and valuable. Many of the Cobblefrost women have suffered from delusions before it's all said and done, truly earning their nicknames for being kooks. There is only so much the mind can take, even for witches and wizards when it comes to the art of prediction and Divination.
Despite being a Pure Blood and a Witch, she was exposed to Muggles at quite a young age. The Cobblefrost family was known for more than just Divination. They were known for their tolerance. They had a pure lack of xenophobia when it came to Muggles and those who didn't understand magic. Even those that were labeled half bloods were always well received. It was because of this upbringing that she has such a relaxed and unique set of personality traits. She doesn't seem to see the bad in anyone, and it was because of how her mother and father raised her. If only everyone else was raised with the same set of values.
Her school experiences was rather unremarkable in terms of risk and reward. She was a good student, and minded her manners for the most part She didn't seek to stand out above anyone else, because if it was going to happen... it would happen naturally. She graduated with decent O.W.L. and N.E.W.T. scores. Enough that she was asked to join the team of teachers. Starting out at Hogwarts as a new teacher is terrifying, but she figures that there are students that could use a fresh face in terms of what Divination is all about.
Character flaws:
Difficult to Get to Know When it comes to knowing her, and getting into the private aspect of her life she can be quite reserved and self-conscious. This makes her notoriously difficult to work past her wall.
Too Idealistic She is known to often take her idealism too far, setting herself up for disappointment as, again and again, evil things happen in the world. This is true on a personal level too, as she may not just idealize her partner, but idolize them, forgetting that no one is perfect.
Quirky- There are pros and cons to having such a personality trait. She doesn't act, dress, speak, nor really resemble anyone else her age. This makes it difficult to connect to people in ways that she should. ( Once that wall comes down of course)
