Colm Cernach has long greasy red hair, piercing emerald eyes, slightly hooked nose, and the pale complection common among the Gliss.  He wears fine red linens and wools, and a crimson Crown Maille Coat.  Hidden beneath is an amulet of a black rock on a leather thong around his neck.  Colm wears a visored helm made of a unique metal and carries an ancient ancestral sword.

Colm is a Hearth Father of Gliss, a member of an ancient druidic priesthood who worship Brigantia, Goddess of Fire.  Colm was been a Journeyman Mendicant Druid, travelling Northern Ellesland in search of enlightenment and wisdom.

The Cernach family are the rightful primates of the Heath-Fathers, with a permanent seat on the Gliss High Council.  A few years ago however, the Cernach family were declared traitors and stripped of all lands and titles by the Kings Steward Kilnded.  Most of Colm's relatives are now dead, or exiled from Gliss.

Colm returned to Gliss several months ago to discover Steward Kilnded's usurpation of power.  He had been using the pseudonym of Finan McRoach to conceal his movements thus far.  Recent events in the netherplane have inspired Colm to reveal his true identity, and come up with a plan to defeat Kilnded and take back his birthright.

Colm is currently semi-retired and working behind the scenes in Glissom City to further his goals.
