A son of a wise woman of Clan Gar. Toirneach Lann started his training as a youth under an elderly spear-witch who taught him to combine sword and sorcery to overcome foes. While learning from his mentor, he also picked up the art of performing for the patients of the witch, many who have serious illnesses. These performances usually brought some relief to their pains.

Tall and lean, Toirneach Lann is pretty quick on his feet and is usually dressed in his suit of maille which was a gift from his mentor and friend, the spear-witch Magia. To minimise his chances of being burnt at the stake, he puts his disguise skills to make himself appear more knightly than faery. His pock marked face which was a result of a childhood illness causes people to shun him.
