Emris of Glyford (Cornumbria)
Knighted on the battlefield north of Uskford during the Sixth Border War. A warband of robber knights leading a hundred-or-more came across the border and took the village of Wyth before a few brave Cornumbrian knights and a score of local militia, including Emris, routed the enemy.

The shield he carries was taken from a raider; there are a number of strange runes on the back but Emris has not been able to guess their meaning. Even the good monks at Osterlin didn’t care to say.
