Xiang Xiodan, 'Soaring Dawn' in the Eastern Tongue, is an Eastern Woman. She is an anomoly, or aberration depending on whom you speak to. Petite, with skin so pale it looks like porcelain, long, well manicured nails that appear claw like, and dark hair and eyes, she is beautiful, but in a cold way. When she smiles, her fangs are noticeable, telling you that she is not entirely human. Even though she follows the path of Heaven's Light, there is a sorrow in her eyes that is rarely comforted, her life has not been easy, and she has had to prove herself twice as hard in service to her mistress as others who follow the same path.

She is an Inquisitor of Heaven's Light, Kwan Ying, and despite her tortured existence between the living and the dead, Xiang is a chivalric example of living the Way of Li, or Rightness Under Heaven. Kwan Yinh is the Goddess of Light, Sun, Nobility, Mercy, Compassion and Honor, and as Her hand, Xiang has sworn to eradicate evil where it will not repent.

When expecting trouble or combat, Xiang wears a fine suit of mithril steel lamellar armor, carries a large matching shield, and wields Tian Guang, a bastard sword that she can infuse with her goddess' power.

When not expecting trouble, she wears fine, brightly colored silks that contrast with her pale skin, and silk slippers of a traditional Eastern design.

She is very proper, and to the Shou, protocol is important.

To live in Li, is to espouse the Nine Virtues of the Path of Enlightenment:  Artistry, Compassion, Courage, Fidelity, Honor, Karma, Love, Respect for Tradition, and Scholarship



Her boon companion is Meihua, a Snowy Owl, who's name means Plum Blossom in the eastern tongue.
