Elsa

Image   Description
Elisabetta is economical, that much is clear on first glance. From her simple ponytail or top-knot (depending on thw day) to the functional, well-worn clothing she chooses, everything abou her screams of efficiency. Very little of it echoes that for which she is most known.

It is there, though.

A certain off-kilter glimmer in eyes that have seen what none ever should as they stare past the world in front of her to the Beyond; the flair in her words she tries to keep strapped up, failing here and there as the moment takes her; the way she looks not at how things are, but how they could be cast in and adapted to her stories. It is most noticeable in her absence while present: she scribbles notes to herself, scrawls out beautiful drawings in a ringed Hilroy notebook and otherwise seems only pseudo-present at any given moment.

Tall and shapely, Elsa is a beautiful woman despite her lack of effort paid to fashion. In fact, the minimal effort she puts forth somehow accents the natural quality of her looks: she is no silicon production.

Elsa is a known person, at least to those who follow her favorite sub-culture.  She is the Queen of Nightmares, possessed of an imagination for horror which transcends the usual jump-scares and gore-porn of contemporary work.  Her films unsettle and disturb, attacking with psychological horror which preys upon the deepest and darkest fears.  She disgusts and terrifies, unpinning the world around her protagonists as she undresses their psyche and savages it piece by piece.  She is extremely well-known as a producer of props, sets and costumes, however, where her work is superior to just about everyone else in the industry.  A rising star as a director, she built her career out of fashioning nightmares and dreamscapes, though she does work for any genre.  Fans of horror know her, though, know the twisted and horrifying work she creates.  She is a master of her craft, a true savant of the art of dread and terror.
