Marak Tarai stands at 5ft8 and weighs a little under 140 lbs, but a lot of that weight comes from some plates that have been melded into his body, covering a section of his chest from just under the collarbone on the left to the bottom of where his ribs end. It wraps around his side, four small holes in the side under his arm and comes around to end just by his spine. It's four plates in the front and four in the back that meet at the four holes and is coloured blue, red, black and yellow similar to a locust.

His human skin is paler than most of the HuSung people and his hair short and spiked up, dark black and usually oiled. His features are usually set in a frown, showing off every wrinkle of his 30 years of life, as though he is contemplating something but can turn into a smile if he's given the right motivation. He normally wears long flowing robes, cut to make it possible for him to fight, they are normally embroidered in gold or silver thread and usually are blues or reds. His high collar is held closed by two pins, the first of silver with a sapphire head and the second gold with a ruby.

Under his clothing he wears a suit of shimmermail that is visible at the sleeves and juts out the bottom of his robes. A number of deep pockets line his clothing and he carries a pair of well crafted, curved daggers and a gilded brush, all with the same bone handles, jut out of the thick sash he wraps around his middle.



His boots are dark and made of the leather of an exotic beast, but perhaps noticeable to only the most observant is that his boots have slightly thicker soles giving him another inch of height. A pair of leather bracers cover his forearms and their studs have images of bolts engraved into their silver heads.



The final accessory is an all metal walking stick, or a hanbo for those more familiar with the fighting weapons of HuSung, topped with a silver dragon head complete with ruby eyes and a chunk of amethyst clasped in it's jaws he holds it in his left hand, the side he seems to favour when walking.
