Misty

Misty is very "cute", the very picture of an Angel. She is essentially a twelve inch porcelain doll, with angelic wings and sharp, pointed metallic teeth. She used to wear the "uniform" of a princess -- crown and all -- but now Misty wears the uniform of a Commodore First Class from the Highlands Cluster in the Highlands Sphere. She has an obscene number of medals and ribbons, each of which appears to be perfectly authentic rather than the imitation one might expect to adorn a child's toy.

For those that are into History or warfare, both the uniform and medals tell a story in themselves. The uniform is crisp and neat, as if it is brand new; this in spite of the fact that it is almost two hundred years out of date. The medals are equally old -- from the First Unhuman War. The medals include one for an ancient and obscure Elven honorary order. So obscure, in fact, that there are questions about whether anyone from that order still exists ...

Misty is very "cute", the very picture of an Angel; yet, there is something about her that makes other uncomfortable. Could it be her size? Well, she is very small ... Halflings are Giants to her. Perhaps it's her Angelic wings ... maybe they make others feel guilty? It could be her gleaming porcelain skin, maybe they're just jealous. But it couldn't be her teeth -- those are perfect! Nice and pointy, just the way teeth were meant to be! And her clothes ... she looks just like a little princess! (She's told that all the time!)

Well, she is new to the city. They probably just hate Outsiders here ...

Misty is, essentially, a porcelain doll -- something that many people find ... "disconcerting".  She's a very friendly thing (when others aren't running away in terror), just as she was meant to be. She's also very good with children ...

Misty is a member of the Wizard's guild at Bral, and always wears the insignia.
