Backstory:

Rythe Doomblaster was selected at a young age to be trained as a demolisher by a cranky old dwarf named Narl Sandhammer. Their relationship was quite a volatile one, but Rythe's natural talent kept him alive and eventually earned him his master's respect. This respect was shown by Narl tattooing Rythe's face with the markings of a full fledged demolisher and then kicking him out and telling him that he hoped never to see him again (except with much more colorful language that needn't be translated from the Dwarf native tongue). Rythe traveled south to a famous dungeon/mine known simply as The Hole in  common, where he delved into the mines and ruins searching for treasure, ore, and goblin-kin to kill. He made quite a living doing this until the Goblinkin stopped their infighting and organized into an army, making the mines unsafe even for a dwarf of his skills.

When it became clear that his way of life was being threatened (and that there was money to be made killing Goblinkin) he joined the militia working to create explosive ordinance for the army's siege works and accompanying small saboteur teams to destroy key goblinkin hideouts and forts. He has the respect and hatred of everyone he has ever worked with because, like many demolishers, he is very talented but his personality leaves a lot to be desired. He was charging along with the rest of the militia during the battle of Dul’Aben throwing bombs and yelling curses that would make ogres cringe when he was transported to the new world along with many of the other groups.

He woke up in a clearing just outside the walls of Sha'alti and eventually went inside after he got his bearings. He had a brief encounter with the medicine man in which he scarcely wound up drinking some healing tea, but mostly wound up shouting about how awful it was and drawing a lot of unnecessary attention to himself. That attention actually got him brought before the Governor of Sha'alti where he found out he needed to gain a writ of passage that he could only earn in the Expedition Force.

The captain cautioned Rythe that it would be best to take the troll on with a team and even recommended that he join up with one of the other groups that had popped up lately, but Rythe laughed in his face and said that he didn't need any help and he would bring back a troll head all on his own. Two and a half weeks later he returned and made good on his word, plopping the trolls head down on the captains desk and demanding his reward with a grin. He then restocked on his supplies and received his insignia sleeves for the Expedition Force when he came out and encountered the rest of the group.

The group was tasked with rooting out and destroying a pack of wolfmen that had been terrorizing the countryside to the north of the city and they left at once. On their travels they came across a band of orcs bearing the markings of a particularly violent, brutal, and merciless tribe from their home dimension. They offered them the chance for peace, but the orcs refused and the group killed them all. The orcs had stolen a wagon and and elephant from a nearby farm, but the group needed it to carry their loot so they vowed to bring it back to the farmer after killing the wolfmen.

They found the cave simply enough and soon it was just a matter of moving room by room until all the wolmen were killed. While Mandar, Rythe, and Lakota were clearing a room, a portal opened up in the ceiling and dropped in two allies from Dul'Aben who had been serving in the Faerie ranks, a Nymph bard named Asaph and a Pixie wizard named Oberon. With their newfound friends the group killed off a great number of wolfmen, a mass of snakes, charmed an Ice Wyrm, and massacred the alpha-wolfman; traps were disarmed, treasure was found, and the countryside was made safe once more.

The group returned the elephant to the farm and escorted the farmer back to Sha'alti where they parted ways. The party rearmed themselves, stocked up on other supplies, and turned in the bounty on the alpha before setting off on another adventure.
