Maximus Kralbaum the Third, or Max for short, comes from a long line of magicians and wizards.  He takes great pride in his heritage, and plans on becoming the most powerful wizard of all. It was this desire that led him to join in during the goblin war.  He really had nothing against goblins or any race for that matter. The war simply provided a good place to test and develop spells, and he went with the side that paid the most. Max considers himself to be a gentleman, though sadly, recent setback had somewhat depleted his family fortune, (hence the need to do R&D in the war). Soon though, he will regain his wealthy status, and the respect that he deserves.
