Akenar is a weather beaten old man with a long grey beard dressed in raggedy woodsman garb and carrying a gnarled wooden staff.

Common knowledge:
Known by many aliases and honorifics such as "the Old Man of the Mountain", "the Sage of Lost Peak" and "the Emerald Oracle", Akenar has haunted the Crystalmist mountains for longer than most men can remember.  He has been known to offer council and aid to heroes brave enough to seek him out in the dangerous frontiers that he calls home.

Akenar is a strong willed individualist that prefers the solitude of his sylvan realm, but has been known to advise any in need as long as they can find him.  The fact that he has come down from his home speaks volumes to the dire need of Humanity during these trying times.
