Toren is the son of Gorn one of the town blacksmiths. He chose to follow his father to Clovers Point and learn his trade. He was 15 when he first arrived and not prepared for life as it was here in the wilderness. He has talked with Brinian on occasion about the possibility of training with the town guard but his father has tried to persuade him to not follow in those footsteps.
