On first glance, many people have difficulty placing Logan's heritage.  His mother's Irish blood came through more strongly in him than in his siblings and is clearly visible in the coppery highlights that adorn his rather unruly mane in the summer months, though he was thankfully spared the burn-prone ivory skin she suffers through.  Dark haired and with a sandy tone to his complexion that gives the impression of a light tan even in the depths of winter, the Asiatic curve to Logan's eyes and high cheekbones blend together just enough that other Asians assume he is completely white, while westerners register him as 'something exotic'.

Built slim and willowy, Logan has a certain grace to his motions that is accentuated by his delicate bone structure and preference for form-fitting clothing.  While slight seeming, the young Shen can summon up a surprising degree of vigor when incited to action and his grip is strong despite what his grandmother refers to as 'pianist's hands.'  That delicacy has worked against Logan in the past, most notably when an errant fist shattered his cheekbone, but it also lends him an allure that has only intensified with the awakening of his Ichor.  While friends, family, and many a bar patron had deemed him handsome before that transfiguration, the touch of the divine has leant a captivating edge that can make his gaze nearly overwhelming.

Having possessed a fondness for dark colours and somber hues since his early teens, it's not uncommon these days for Logan to dress entirely in shades of gray.  He's mostly given up the black on black look that haunted his high school years, but monochromatic ensembles definitely have pride of place in his wardrobe.  Lately he's tried to branch out a bit, at least if you count undergarments and socks, but the general trend still holds true.

On a casual day Logan can usually be found sporting slim-fit jeans, simple long sleeved shirts, and converse sneakers, though sweaters and hiking boots soon make an appearance when winter takes hold of the land.  For nights on the town, or whenever he's feeling fancy, the button down's come out, and often as not a pair of polished Derby boots as well.  Outerwear choices tend to be more weather based than stylistic in nature, but he favors an insulated leather motorcycle jacket on colder days and various military-style canvas coats for windy ones.

When the situation calls for his very best, Logan reaches for his makeup bag.  While he's only been practicing for a few years now, the skill has come as easily to him as most crafts do.  The ability to banish the evidence of sleepless nights, smooth away a bad skin day, or add just a bit more definition to one’s cheeks has proven to be quite the pick me up when he wants to look flawless.  His Ichor's influence has made certain cosmetics somewhat pointless, but there's always room for a little improvement somewhere.  With that effort put in, Logan has found that the accompanying 'Halo Effect' can be a valuable tool at times and as his psychology professor was so fond of saying:  "If you look good, people will assume you are good."
