Zertin is only slightly taller than average for a human and not particularly muscular. The first impression for most people he meets is that he seems well educated and obviously intelligent but rather arrogant as a result. Some sort of scholar, perhaps?

If you meet him on the street he is obviously dressed for travel with a sturdy backpack on his back. However the only weapon he carries is the single dagger at his belt, which looks like it has never been used.
