Tannen Gable is descended from the Rjurik at some point in his ancestory. A taller man, perhaps a shade under the six foot mark, possesses the build of a man who has been well fed and trained hard since his childhood. Broad shoulders and a well muscled frame speak of a man who has spent many hours in the practice yard, astride a horse or engaged in physical pursuits to keep himself in trim form.

His close cropped hair is a departure of men from the north who tend to keep it long but is shows a deep brown with robust red highlights when the sun shines upon it. His features are moderately handsome with dark eyes and a noble nose giving him a strong aspect.

Tannen's raiment looks to have seen better days. It is clear that it was once fine gear but has seen long and hard use. His shirts or just a bit worn at the edges as are his pants and other cloth and leather items. The one thing which remains for the most part spotless are his arms and armour. But even there, they are starting to lose the fight with age and constant use.
