Half Japanese Sakura was born the middle child of three in Huntsville Alabama of a father who was a US Military doctor, and a Japanese mother who was an astrophysicist.  They settled in Huntsville Alabama for her mother's (Kimiko Tanaka Farnham) carreer with NASA.  Her father Hugh Farnham was a general practitioner who did family practice.





She grew up in a competitive environment and excelled, eventually going to Engineering school at University of Alabama:  Huntsville and graduating near the top of her class.  While in college she was a member of the school's pistol team, taking a step further in a hobby her father had introduced her to when she was 12, something he considered healthy as a native child of Alabama.

During her college years she got a job with Alabama Power as a Co-op, which lead to her getting a job with TVA (The Tennessee Valley Authority) upon graduation as a power engineer.  Until the zombies that was what she did, the engineer for a field team and working closely with generation and transmission power systems around the TVA footprint.


When the zombies came, she was working on the south coast arranging the proper parts and practices for new wind turbines that were meant to be used offshore of Donald Trump's newest resort in Scotland.  She still secretly suspects that Donald caused the zombies to stop her project.

These days she is wearing her field gear.

She has a wide thick leather belt with the following tools:

A pair of heavy needle nose pliers
A Sheath knife (buck)
A Browning High Power (HP35) and two spare magazines.

She USED TO also carry a 12 gauge semi auto shotgun, and has a backpack with a tarp, sleeping bag, mess kit, some field rations, canteen, and spare clothes like.. socks and underwear.

For field use, she now carries a HK417, suppressed, and an HP-35 or something else similar, Suppressed.  7 mags/3 mags (including inserted).
