Margaret is the matriarch of one of the local farming families in Calshot Village, and she has had considerable experience with farming and resource management world wide, having managed agricultural and animal husbandry projects in many countries as a World Health Organisation official.

She has been made Director of Agriculture and Food for the Solent Community, and sits on the Council of Directors
