Captain of the Crimson Talon

Vyaera is a bastard, born to the Lord of Driftmark, Jaerys Velaryon, and a bastard daughter of Lord Arryn, Gwynn Stone. While she has not be legitimised in the Westerosi sense, she is considered a daughter of her father and bears his name. She is his favourite, it is rumoured, but not his favourite for the seat of Driftmark. She is a sailor and a wanderer, enjoying exploration in the east and on the islands along the coast of Westeros. Rumour has it that she has been to the far North as well.

For her eighteenth birthday, her father bestowed upon her a very fine new flagship as well as a fleet of merchant vessels to command. When she is not off having adventures, she oversees important trade for her family and forges new alliances. It is rumoured that she will take on small mercenary contracts from time to time as well.

The young woman, now in her early twenties, has her mother's brown hair, but the striking dark purple eyes of her father give away her heritage.
