Carver

Carver is an orphan.  He walked up to the gates of Castle Bluebones when he was 8 or 9 and demanded to be admitted to the Order.  The boy proved his toughness and dedication when it was discovered that he was not a local child, but had walked nearly 60 miles from a nearby city to speak with the Monks.  Over the years Carver has earned his name by over achieving as a swordsman.  Carver has become slightly famous / infamous among the pages and squires because he has served on 2 or 3 Knight Quests (most squires only serve once, rarely twice before being picked up a young Knight) and been disciplined for insubordination on several occasions.  He is an exceptional scout and excels at combat, however, he has never been picked up as a permanent squire because of a "bad attitude" and "loose morals".  Carver is "lifer", but his fortunes changed when he was accepted by Azrael to be his full time squire.

Carver is broad shouldered, rugged and generally likeable, but seems to have trouble keeping his mouth shut when there are authorities around.  As a squire and worshipper of Torm he is expected to share the same moral code as the Knights of his Order, but he has been known to lapse when there is great temptation.
