Philip is an earnest young man, the adored eldest child of Mr & Mrs Armstrong and Genevieve's much beloved elder brother.

He works for his father's businesses in the North, was educated at Oriel College Oxford where he studied Classics and Philosophy as personal interests.

He is tall, dark and rugged looking.  He can sometimes appear stern and appears to have little time for frivolity.
