Overall Appearance:  Astridr considers herself a northern beauty, though her skin has paled greatly and her hair darkened from the many centuries away from the sun she retains a fire within that seems to give her a glow. Particularly after a feeding.  Standing at what is now average height, her body has a soft edge which draws one in and puts them at ease. When in fact her musculature is well toned and hardened from centuries of battle.  For those who are able or foolish enough to look her in the eye the color is like the icy northern waters of her homeland, blue with grey around the center of her iris. When her vampire powers are in full swing her eyes  lose that cold blue and turn into  grey pools of a icy maelstrom.

  Astrid tends to wear her hair down letting the long blond tresses fall down her back and over her shoulders. Often she will pull her sides back into a braid to keep them out of her face. On special occasions she has been known to put it all up in an elaborate mass of braids and buns much as she did while human. While she doesn't use makeup she has taken a fancy to nail polish and often changes her nails on a weekly basis simply for the novelty of it. She has also adopted the clothing of this century to a point,  avoiding the tight fitting items for those that feel as though she could more easily move in a fight should it occur on a daily basis and dresses on the more formal occasions..

Basic Personality: Some vampires speak of losing their humanity as they age, Astridr isn't sure she ever had it. Being raised among a Kiss of vampires gave her a rather odd childhood, combine that with the mentality of early Viking culture in which she was born and the result is an odd mix of honor and ruthlessness that few seem to understand. Astridr feels that honor and family are the key values and have been lost over the centuries and she feels it is her duty to return these values to the whatever Kiss she is a part of for a time.

 Centuries of travel with her servant  allowed her to see the many wonders of the world and her long life has resulted in her seeing those many wonders change again and again. While there is no longer the thrill of exploring the unknown places of the world there is the amusement of watching those changes. While accepting the will of the Council and following the laws placed upon her kind by them and man Astridr makes a point to keep as close to the old ways as possible.
