Carlos is an easy-going fellow who is always up for a good time.  That and his handsome good looks make him very attractive to members of the opposite sex.  Carlos typically spends his off-duty time in physical pursuits.  He was Captain of the Starfleet Academy soccer team and laments that there isn't space aboard a starship for him to practice or play his beloved sport.
