It's clear that in his youth that Aesan was brought up by the Schola. His sharp mind has been honed by engrams, noetic rituals and likely augmentation considering the vast amount of knowledge that one comes across when you are pegged as part of the Administratum. Numbers, facts and logic all hold weight in his mind and it's with these he's built up a network of contacts and a web of information brokers that let him piece together what there is to detect, identify and tear apart with precision the enemies of the Imperium both within and without.
Green appears to be his favorite color, if he has one at all, since it's incorporated into his cloak as well as his leathers. Wearing a satchel over the shoulder that holds a few things he bears a single ring with a chalice, the Inquisitorial 'I' on forming it's stem that his cadre has seen him wear not only as an old symbol of who he was as a Legate Investigator, but it also hides a Digi-las that he's used in tight spots before as well as his credentials as a full Inquisitor. Beyond that he has a curious lever-action bolt carbine that he has deadly aim with in the few times he actually has to draw a weapon.
