As you first see him, his great stature and imposing bear like features put you on guard.  All of that is whisked away when he smiles the most gentle and sincere smile at you, it reaches up to his large cheeks and sparkles in the light of his blue-green eyes.  It is then that you realize, the giant is that size to contain his large heart and great compassion.  A long thick head of hair and bushy beard frame the handsome smiling face like the mane of a lion.  When he plays the small flute it looks comical in those large hands, the wind pipe disappearing into that large beard.
