Lililin Fia Elmia

Lililin Fia Elmia is a Gnomish sorceress who realized her powers through emotive outbursts and familial magical heritage, who was admitted into the Academae to control her wild magic and was later forced to drop out from social pressure after being accused of and acquitted of murder.

Lililin is a short, pink haired gnome with light blue skin. She stands at about three feet square, about as tall as a small donkey, her hands are calloused from years of study and the soles of her comfortably soled shoes are worn from constant movement throughout the town of Korvosa through consistent journeys to set up trysts for her hedonistic wizard master. She has a fiery temper unexpected from one so short, and those who refuse to treat her with respect despite her small stature are destined for a lecture and a long one at that. She wears a modest top and a pair of comfortable leather slacks that exposes her midriff complete with belt, with alchemical incendiaries hidden at her sides, and a pair of magnifying goggles atop her head which she uses to read the text hidden in small tomes.

She is a studious gnome not exempt from the squeaky, higher pitched voice that others of her race are prone to having. She has also a love of Desna nurtured through travel and encounters with her priestesses and shrines set up on well traveled thoroughfares. While she isn't devout, she appreciates the freedom to travel where one pleases, as during her teenage years she was apprenticed to an adulterous oaf.

Lililin grew up the daughter to Lulilu and Eridian Elmia and was born with magic running through her veins, her mothers connection to magic had been quite great, and she was capable of minor acts of wizardry which served her well as a miniscule barmaid far away from the pinching fingers of the larger races while her father was a scribe for the Magistrate of Regulation, Lolia Perenne. Her gift for magic was painstakingly nurtured by her mother and father spending long hours at their places of employment, along with an apprenticeship to a hedonistic oaf of a wizard by the name of Fredregar Alexander under the pretense of teaching her to control and manifest her powers.

What he really wanted however was a charismatic apprentice he could use to arrange trysts leveraged through his power as a wizard of The Academae. Soon afterwards she was banished from the school due to a not-guilty conviction in a court of law where she was accused of stabbing and killing a dockworker between one of her masters errands. During the trial she pleaded, "I'm not tall enough to stab someone in the chest your honor!" and along with her school friends testimony providing her alibi she was acquitted from the crime she was accused of, but it was too late. Her reputation was already destroyed and her master had denounced ever having had her as an apprentice (a blessing in disguise). From then on she devoted herself to self-study, confident that she could easily take what she had learned so far and better herself at a rate much greater than that of The Academae.
