Ling Yin is a pretty, young, human woman from a nomadic tribe not known well in these parts. She is slender, not very curvy at all, belying her strength. Her sinewy muscles are well-toned, giving her the overall physique of a fitness model. Her dark eyes are both piercing and captivating. Beyond her physical beauty is her silver tongue, though; she sings quite well and is adept at charming or convincing people.

Even when dressing for potential combat, Ling Yin wears lighter clothing; enough to handle the cold, but nothing that would be considered armor. Her style of clothing still reflects her heritage, but it is tempered by her later training and by no longer being nomadic. So her culture's style is there, but her attire suits her current situation rather than what she would wear were she still a nomad. The main difference in what she wears between every day and when she is expecting danger is that she adds a long sheath and a two-handed sword, which really looks too big for her but she handles gracefully.

Coming from the Sterling Combine, Ling Yin is a little rough around the edges, despite her generally gentler demeanor. She acts with an air of gentility and peace, but she seems to understand the world is harsh. Along this line, she tries to be peaceful but has no qualms about killing in self defense.
