Character Name: Michael Thomas(Air Force Lieutenant Colonel)

Character Background: Michael Thomas is a strong and capable soldier, even though his mouth can land him in some hot water at sometimes. He grew up in a small low-class home in the outskirts of Boston His mother(Rebecca Thomas) was a stay at home mother, he was very close to her until she died of Cancer when he was 13, his father(Samuel Thomas) was a Police Officer, who was killed in a routine traffic stop shooting when Michael was 17. Michael  has a sister(Jennifer) that is 2 years younger than him, who he took care of until she was able to graduate High School, then at the age of 20 he and his sister who was 18 at the time both joined the Military, he went into the Air Force while she joined the Navy Seals since they joined neither one has seen much of the other, as they both took very different paths in the armed forces, yet they try to call or visit the other when they can.

 Michael met a young woman(Elizabeth Walsh) while stationed in France, the two became very close and within a year they were married. Just after their marriage his was redeployed back to the USA, while there about 3 months into their marriage they discovered she was pregnant, the next 9 months went without much incedent until the date of December 19, 2010 while in the hospital in labor there were complications, and during the process his wife and hi new-born twins died, his wife bled out while the twins were both still born. Michael took the loss pretty hard as one would expect, he struggled with Suicide for the next few months, then he put his efforts even further into his career, basically cutting off his family and friends, and since then he hasn't hardly spoken to any of them, his sister Jennifer tries to reach out to him as she is now a mother herself and wants him to be a part of their family again, but thus far all attempts have been ignored.

 In early December of this year, he was approached about a top secret organization that wanted his expertise, and thus he joined the SGC(SGX) program, upon joining he still hasn't met most if any of the people there, but he has taken a fancy to a young Blonde woman(that he recognized from his tour in France) to which he discovered her name is Sarah Morgan, though so far she doesn't exactly know it, nor has he really approached her about it, but she is the first person to bring any sort of feeling back to him.
