Telkoun was once a hermit who built a tower in a remote valley far away from any troubles a wizard might encounter.  However, now he is wrapped up in the whirlwind that follows the group and acts as their sometime adviser.  Little is known of his actual background, but the one thing that is clear is he is a very powerful wizard.
