From a distance Brother Yew looks like a fairly slim man or youth about 5 and a half feet tall. It is only at close range that his half-elven heritage is apparent in the angle of his cheek bones, slanted eyes and pointed ears. It is a face that rarely betrays any hint of emotion at all.

He is dressed in a simple brown monastic robe and sturdy boots are revealed when he walks. There is a weathered old backpack on his back and a dagger and belt pouch at his waist but it is his beautifully crafted light crossbow that is generally noticed first by those he meets.
