Tall and thin with graceful movements, Theophilus is usually dressed in a blue-grey robe that's of a finer quality than what would be worn by the average hedge mage.  The bandolier of daggers across his body indicates that he doesn't spend his time locked away in a library.  Although he tries to be as polite as possible, he sometimes forgets that not everyone is as smart he is.

What are his motivations for seeking adventure?  A sense of duty to his mentor and his mentor's lord?  Seeking vengeance for the death of his family and village?  A quest to gather more arcane knowledge?   Maybe even he doesn't know for sure.
