This boy is a teenager between perhaps 13 and 17.  It is hard to narrow it down as he is very sunburned and weathered giving him a much older look than his obvious tender years.

He has blue eyes and black hair and wears rough hide clothing.  He has a sullen and quiet demeanor.  In fact, you have yet to hear him speak.
