Dee Brzezicki

Name: Danica "Dee"  Brzezicki
Sex: Female
Age: 15
Date of Birth: 12/29
Nationality: American (both parents are naturalized citizens and the girls were born in Connecticut)
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 115lb
Hair: Dark Brown
Eyes: Blue Grey

Power:  Dee can tap into the Earth's Morphagenic field (also known as "the Red") which theoretically allows her to take on the powers of any animal that has lived on planet Earth.

Siblings:  Zorica "Zee" Brzezicki
Parents:  Wiktor "Vic" Brzezicki (translator) & Emily Brzezicki nee Goode (mother)

Appearance:

The girls' lankiness makes them seem shorter than 5'8" when standing alone and taller when standing in a group.  While not malnourished, it is obvious that they are not too concerned about proper diet or exercise.

Their mobile, angular faces constantly shift to reflect their emotions and thoughts.  The girls are not pretty (although they might be able to if they ever stopped moving long enough), but their energy and openness is often attractive to other people, regardless of orientation.  However, their boyish figures give them a very androgynous look which some people find disorienting.  This isn't helped by their outfits, which often border on homeless chic.

Alone, Dee has a tendency to leave a space between herself and other people or objects.  It doesn't seem to be intentional or affect her emotional state, which tends to be manic and intense.  She does have a rather staccato way of speaking that only makes sense when you realize she spent years talking in tandem with her twin.

History:

We have always been.  At least, as long as we can remember.  Tatuś and Mama let us have our own world for a long time.  It let them have their own world.  Everyone benefited.  We were happy.  And then school.  Yes, school.
...
...
They separated us.  Different classes.  Different teachers.  Tried to make us have different friends.  But, we were smarter.  Stubborn.  They gave up first.

So we continued to be.  We moved where Tatuś went for work.  Everywhere.  Anywhere.  Mama made each place a home.  We were happy.  Everyone was happy.  Mama taught us at home. Tatuś taught us to speak. Languages are easy for us.  Geography is easy.  We have probably been there.  We avoided England for a long time, though...

Then...London.  Zee went away.  She left us.  Everyone tried to help.  Said maybe she ran away, but she would not have left without me.  Said maybe she had an accident, but I would know.

I lost my words for a long time.  Lost my way.  Lost my mind.  Lost my self.  I kept leaving space for her to talk.  It took me a long time to relearn how to speak on my own.  I still leave her space when I walk, when I sleep, when I stand.  But, I have learned how to just be a me, instead of an us.

Sometimes, though, I still leave a space for her to speak, just in case...
