A world class swimmer, Zack has a lean, powerful frame.  He stays in excellent shape, and he possesses a certain rugged, everyday good look about him.

Personality description: Zack was an idealistic rookie cop before the world went to hell. He burns with the need to protect and to serve. While reckless and brash, Zack is certainly not as naive as his demeanor would suggest, and the time he spent traveling with Claire has been an eye-opening experience, had has made him loyal to her almost to a fault.

Character History:  Zack is a world class swimmer, and attended college on a swimming scholarship and as the current holder of two world records, he was the favorite to captain the U.S swim team team at the next Olympic games in London, but he would never get the chance.

He joined joined the police after college as a way to make money, and when he wasn't training in the pool, he became an idealistic rookie cop. embodying the ideas of protect and to serve.

He had only been with the department a few weeks and was on his way to work when that fateful day happened.
