Gwydion

High Concept: Young Prince of Avaluna
Invoke when using position to gain leverage, or to represent training. Compel when trying to resist going to the aid of others rather than focusing on the task at hand, or when responsibilities come up.

Trouble: Transparent Principles
Invoke when using personal conviction to gain trust. Compel when trying to gain support from traditionalists or elders, when trying to lay low while others are being treated badly, or when trying to deceive or resist deception.

STUNTS
Home Is Where the Forge Is - You may use Household for rolls to repair Armour so long as you are able to get it back to your home base.

The Quality Of Mercy - When an opponent accepts a consequence, you may lower the consequence by one step once per scene. If you do, gain a fate point.

Duelist's Finesse - When you succeed with style on a Melee attack and choose to reduce the result by one to take a boost, you gain a full situation aspect with a free invocation instead.

High As Hope - Your devotion to the Code of Chivalry inspires hope in the darkest hours. Once per session you can reduce someone else's consequence by one level of severity (severe to moderate, moderate to mild, mild to nothing at all) by succeeding on an Chivalry roll with a difficulty of Fair (+2) for a mild consequence, Good (+3) for moderate, or Great (+4) for severe. You need to talk with the person you're aiding for at least half an hour in order for them to receive the benefits of this stunt, and you can't use it on yourself.

Studied The Weird - Your dive into the theory of fourth-dimensional quantum mechanics has given you a special edge in that field of knowledge. Gain a +2 to Overcome with Lore in your specialized field of knowledge.

PHASE ONE: Doomed to Repeat
Gwydion couldn't help himself. He'd only just arrived at the Jovian court the previous day, and already he'd managed to offend rather than impress. He'd earned himself three duels, one right after the other. It was only the fortunate timing of an Emergent raid that pulled the young man away from his opponents, though they'd have preferred he stay and fight rather than rushing off to protect those targets the machines had chosen.

Aspect: I Stand By Justice
Invoke to hold conviction or appraise the justice of a situation. Compel to hold conviction in the face of being wrong, or when justice demands making a difficult choice (such as running away from an honorable duel to save the lives of the innocent).

PHASE TWO: A Friend in Need
Gwydion had been traveling Venusian space with an ambassador, getting his education in courtly matters among allies. It was awkward and difficult for him, especially when the young ladies he tried to explain his ideals to quietly giggled to themselves over some misplaced word or stammer. Just on the brink of deciding to retire for the day, the call went out to defend a family's yacht from an Emergent raid. That was exactly the break he needed to get himself focused, and he returned to his Armour and headed straight for the battlefield. At least he could do /something/ right...

Aspect: Louder Than Words
Invoke when leading by example or when seeking to be underestimated. Compel when making unprepared public speeches or trying to hold non-personal conversation.

PHASE THREE: On the Wings of Justice
Gwydion had been close and heard the warning call. "Emergent forces sighted, send backup." He was all that could be spared, having been traveling with no other Armours. Going off alone into the darkness, the young knight found he was too late to help, but the enemy was at least defeated. What he found instead was a patrol of Knights harassing a scavenger. Not just with words, but with blades, when he'd lifted no finger against them. Gwydion wasn't about to let that happen. Moving to the lone warrior's side, the pair faced down the patrolmen, each side ready and willing to make their point clear with violence.

Fortunately, it didn't come to that. None of them would want it to become known that they'd laid a hand on Arthur's nephew. But the fact that he was coming to the aid of such vultures would soon become news in various halls.

Aspect: Arthur's Nephew
