Sylvie Moss is Mimi's mother. She and her family used to live on Callisto Station until it was destroyed by MerGN-A's Emergent. They relocated to Avaluna along with many other refugees. Sylvie has "adopted" Meara in Freyr's abscence. What she lacks in High-Society graces, she makes up for in a warm and friendly personality. Her husband, Hiram, works on a water-hauling vessel.
