Hattie is a pretty young woman from a small town.  She has a kind face and gentle spirit marred by past terrors.  There is a quiet strength to her, an ability to endure adversities and grow stronger from them.  Her long, blonde hair is kept in a simple pony tail or single braid to allow her to work on her father-in-law's farm with little impediment.  A simple work dress with apron or leather pants and blouse gives her the freedom to carry out her chores.

Hattie's voice is a soft alto.  Her time on the farm gives her a constant scent of lilac and hay grass.
