Manaen (Mana commonly) is the most angry-looking creature one could come across. Dark in color and with a body that looks like someone mixed an angry dragon turtle with a bag full of knives and made it a tortle. His face is an everlasting scowl and his whole shell often rumbles in such a way one would expect some great beast to express its emotions of a minor harassment.

All that aside, anyone who has known or even met Mana for more than an hour will know him to be a bookish mage who is at his best figuring out new spells or how to bend magic as far as it can go.
