"The Ukrainian Fairy", 16 year old Yura Vasiliev has gained quite a reputationin the world of mortals. He is an up-and-coming figure skater who has been dominating the junior level championships, set to be making his senior debut. Rumors say he was supposed to attend the 2002 Olympics as a competitor, but supposedly there was an issue which prevented him. Even so, many have been eager to keep their eye on him, convinced that he'll be quite a promising contender in future events.

 Most recognize him for his routines involving extensive use of jumping, as he caused quite a stir a few years ago during the Ukrainian Juniors Championship where he landed a quadruple salchow at the age of thirteen despite his coach's advice that he was too young. However, his signature techniques involve combination spins, as he is capable of holding his spins and spirals in a half-Biellmann position due to his flexibility from his ballet practice.

  Yura doesn't seem like much at first glance.  A short little waif-thing thing with a fair complexion and cold blue eyes often hidden partially behind his chin-length pale blonde hair. He most typically is seen wearing a hooded jacket over some kind of t-shirt with either black pants or sweatpants depending on whether or not he's training that day. He most often travels with a red knapsack, in which he keeps his skates, and most often his jacket pocket contains his beeper.
