Xephrim Gol was born on the rim world of Ossus to an archaeologist and his bodyguard wife. As his father was there on an extended sponsored expedition, he grew up with a mix of scholastic interests and learning about the early Jedi. As time went on, he became fascinated with the Je'daii order, the precursor to the Jedi and even the Sith. So he could feed his obsession, he took to colleges and earned a degree in history and archaeology.

Now, he had the skills, but he had no backing, or even anyone interested in giving him an opportunity for a field research position. He's hoping something will come up that can give him an opportunity to fund his own expedition, and learn more of those who believed in the Balance of the Force...
