Mask
Toby is a man who smiles infrequently, for his life has not brought him experiences worth smiling over. Much of his outward demeanor screams of past military experience and he's made references offhand of experience that would back up that supposition. To the rest of the world, he stands six feet tall and weighs about a hundred fifty pounds. His hair is cropped close in a fashion that could be accomplished by a barber with a set of clippers both on or off a military base. He's allowed himself to keep a coarse stubble of beard as well. His hair is black, his skin pale, and his build long enough to border on gangly.

The image of ex-military carries over to his wardrobe, which seems to be filled almost entirely of jeans, cargo pants, boots, and t-shirts. In addition to the various items one might typically find in a man's pockets, Toby is never without a folding knife, multitool, hunting knife and/or ka-bar. With his regular attire, Toby can be seen to bear several tattoos. The most easily recognizable of the set is the USMC Logo.

Mien
Beneath the mask, any illusion that Toby is aught but a being of pure darkness is cast aside. His shape wavers, one moment indistinct and the next stark and sharp-edged like something darting in out of one's peripheral vision. In the daytime, what color he yet retains is muted and faded. At night, he is a thing of grayscale with no color remaining.
