Marissa Young

Called "the Sellout Prince" in hushed whispers by her detractors within the Movement, Marissa Young has been the de facto Prince of the City since 2006.  She makes no claim to title, despairingly referring to herself as the Masquerade's Chief Administrator, but there is little doubt who controls the City when Elysium comes.  Marissa claims the skyscraper known as One Woodward Avenue as her territory, and none may enter that domain without her permission.  Even with it granted, it is impossible to step within the building without feeling her presence as a physical thing.  The fact that she holds every Elysium there only further cements the palpable feeling of authority she holds over her Covenant and her City.  The Sellout Prince holds an interesting court, shaping the outlines of City law within her trusted circle of advisors, but then putting it to the City in general elections to vote into effect.

Marissa is short and full figured, bearing the marks of a woman who lived a hard life before she was Embraced. She looks to be in her late thirties, and tends to dress in the fashion of the corporate culture of which she is such a huge part.    She came to Auto City in the early 1930's, establishing herself as a political and real estate powerhouse by operating through proxies and covers.  Holding a libertarian ideology, rare for a Carthian, she has spent the last eighty years assembling a financial stranglehold on the City.  While her finances were greatly impacted by the collapse of Detroit's economy, she is by no means destitute, and her agents continue to shape and control the future of the city.
