One of the few Detroit natives within the upper ranks of the Circle, Kim King was allegedly born to one of Ha^ng's ghouled Retainers to a mixed race household in the early 1960s.  Personally groomed by the High Priestess, she was strangely left unghouled, being Embraced on the night of her 21st birthday without having tasted Kindred blood before.  The identify of her Sire remains a mystery, as the Gangrel Trickster is clearly not the childe of the Mehket leader of the Acolytes in Detroit.

Kim serves the Crone as Master of the Hunt, leading the monthly bloodhunts that the Circle conducts outside of the city.  When not hunting, she has a gregarious and outgoing personality, quick to make a joke or a quip when circumstances allow.  She tends to dress in bright colors, garish pinks and reds, that would make her easy to spot while out in the woods.  However, this is rarely a problem, as Kim is not known for hunting in her usual Kindred form.  The Mistress of the Hunt lets her Beast out when it is time to give chase, favoring the form of an enormous grey wolf with bright green eyes.  Flanked by her ghouled familiar, the she wolf Kai, and generally traveling with a trio of ravens, Kim is almost impossible to escape once she has a scent.
