The habits hammered into him are alive and well, easily noticed by anyone who pays attention. None of that ever comes to his attention. In his mind, he left that lifestyle far behind.However, Marc lives like he worked. Quietly but passionately. His tattoos contain meanings that make people shake their heads in judgement. The alcohol he drank was because someone he knew liked it. And the clothes he wears are for function not fashion but he insists they look good on him.
Never a man of towering stature, Mark has maintained his muscle mass through an exercise regiment that could be described as subconscious. It is only when he considers himself 'on the job' that his eyes glow with an intelligent light. That is when the old scabs of his life peel away and the makings of a predator shine through.
