Like many of Detroit's Lancea et Sanctum, Gerard was well into his years before he Embraced.  His wrinkled features are in a near permanent scowl, and his rough shod hair has lost much of its luster and thickness.  Still, there is considerable strength in his old limbs, and a power and conviction in his voice that cannot easily be ignored.  He speaks little of his past, but the scars on his knuckles speak of a hard life out on the streets before his conversion.

Gerard dresses much the same as most of the Street Preachers of the so called Vagabond God, in a collection of miss-matched and dirty rags and heavy coats.  He is generally seen in the company of the mortal kine, the homeless and forgotten of Detroit, and is an active participant in the city's thriving Cacophony Society.
