Kalia was born into a family of powerful magic using elves, but at a young age was forced out of and chastised from elven society because of the small chromatic dragon she had befriended at such a young age and her refusal to end it's life, or allow others to do so. What no one realized was that it was the physical manifestation of a spirit of a dragon that had bound itself to her.

Leaving Kyonin she would make her way west, for the Shackles. Frustrated, upset, and determined forge her own path and possibly even her own kingdom she took Drakar and made her way to the Shackles. She was going to become a Pirate Queen, The Dragon Mistress as her name meant.
