"This has all been some tragic mis-understanding..."


Krunluc the Maddened was a blind, deaf orc when born who found he had a connection to spirits to act as equivalent senses.

He was of a noble house, though he was disgraced by his family for his connection to those spirits and his magical ways that did not even follow the precepts of normal shaman.

He discovered through various means the hidden temple of the Old Eladrin, where someone of vision might be able to release the Giver of Wishes and gain power. He wished to restore the Orc race to their ancient status, considering the state of the race now as being no more than clans of barely respected barbarians.


However, his initial completion of the ritual created waves of wild magic through the world. It was this wave that created The Ball, and started the adventure.

Meri and Nym managed to defeat his plan, and he was last seen as he was dismissed to 'a place of peace and solitude' by the power he tried to harness, stripped of his own powers.
