2001: (age 19) Kyle leaves college to return home
Helps family to run the restaurant following his father's heart attack; family is cautioned by doctor that Joseph cannot handle large amounts of stress and therefore Kyle feels like he cannot leave the restaurant until one of his brothers takes over; Luke has already started his own business so Kyle and Drew work out a deal
2004: (age 21) Drew backs out of their deal after his son is conceived
Kyle agrees to a new arrangement (Drew will take over the restaurant at 30 when he can afford his child and the job)
2007: (age 24) Drew is shot
Kyle begins taking more active role in restaurant - knows it will be his career for the rest of his life
Buys a home near the restaurant with Luke's advice
2012: (age 29) Joseph dies from sudden cardiac arrest following a second heart attack
2018: (age 35) Meets Maggie Boland
