Perhaps the most perfect representative of the main family's traits, Jys'arra is tall for a dark elf at 5'9", her amber-gold eyes striking, and her physical beauty exceptional even among a race known for physical perfection. In fact, her statuesque form is often the target of envy among the other nobles of Rilauven, the features that come from the extensive heritage of a family of widespread traders making her somewhat exotic among the more homogeneous looks of the city.

Though her body may be soft and full in all the places that add to her sensual appeal, it is equally as strong and powerful, with cords of muscle giving her as dangerous an appearance as it is attractive. Moving with the grace of a dancer, Jys'arra rarely gives the appearance of being anything but a predator, especially to her own family.

While she often wore black and diaphanous clothes before she overthrew her mother, and took the House for her own, Jys'arra now seems to have an affection for white and purple layered robes that flow around her, all emblazoned with Vahadarr's insignia. A constant accessory is her long ebonwood staff, topped with a golden bat, the animal having become a second symbol of Vhaeraun within Rilauven. While the staff may be a weapon of her divine might, it well is known that Jys'arra was highly skilled with a Lightblade, and has a full suit of enchanted of enchanted Drow Elven Chain that has seen little action since her coup.

Once the First Daughter of the Matron Mother Raen'astra'breena, Jys'arra turned away from the goddess Lolth early in her life after almost dying to betrayal during a disastrous mission within the tunnels of the Underdark. Saved only by the direct intervention of Vhaeraun, she swore herself to Lolth's son, and plotted for over two centuries to bring her House into his service. Her rewards for this shift in loyalties was quick in coming, as secret rites extended her youth, allowing her to adopt a long perspective.

Uniting with other Masked Traitors, she conducted secret missions and assassinations that helped to culminate in Rilauven casting off the shackles of Lolth. While it took her nearly another sixty years to engineer her own ascension, she took her time in subverting a large portion of her House. She  even trained her own cadre of novices, using their power in rituals to increase her own, so that when the time came she was ready. With the additional aid of  her brother Cal'istas, she overthrew the power structure of her House, murdering her own mother in the process, and conducted a near ruinous purge of Lolth's faithful from the House of Vahadarr.

Now she has an even more difficult task, to bring her House to prominence and power from its heavily weakened position, all while fending off her enemies within and without.
