Sildar Hallwinter is a tall, weathered human male of approximately fifty years. His braided blond hair and beard are long and scattered with patches of deep silver. He wears the thick fur cloak of a northman over fine chain mail armor and dark traveler's clothes.

Bearing himself with the calm confidence of a proven warrior, Sildar typically wears an expression of stern honor on his face, demanding respect and duty from all who deal with him. But beneath this tough exterior, when engaged in friendly conversation, he soon reveals himself to be a patient, caring and kind-hearted man who is willing to sacrifice much for the good of his friends.
